Join artist Laurie Edwards for Watercolor Postcards, an ongoing watercolor class inspired by photographs from her travels throughout Europe. Each session focuses on translating travel moments—light, atmosphere, architecture, landscape, and quiet details—into expressive watercolor paintings.
Designed for intermediate to advanced painters, this class builds progressively, with each session expanding upon techniques and concepts introduced in previous weeks. Students will be encouraged to work thoughtfully, experiment confidently, and develop a cohesive body of work.

Interpreting photographic reference with artistic freedom
Creating mood, light, and shadow
Color harmony and confident mixing
Expressive brushwork and layered washes
Composition for small-format storytelling
