CAUSE: Gulfport Food Forest
ARTIST STATEMENT: “More” is a collage that I commenced over a decade ago. I believed it to be complete last year and had it exhibited at the Gulfport Arts Center Show. Upon returning home, I recognized the need for additional elements to complete it. I now feel that it is finally complete. This artwork reflects the emotions I experienced after the storms of last year. I sought “More” peace, “More” nature, and “More” beauty. These are precisely the qualities that I consistently find in the Gulfport Food Forest.
