BIO: Originally from Europe, Vanya Robinson has traveled this World. Yet, it was the Sonoran Desert that inspired her unique approach to art. She collected different dried botanical materials from the Desert floor and assembled them into various, mostly recognizable forms, painted with acrylics. Upon relocating to Florida, the desert materials got substituted with the offerings from beaches. She uses seashells and her playful artistic vision blending observation with imagination for sculpting all imaginable sorts of colorful objects and creatures. While initial steps in Arizona might have been somewhat experimental, they traced a path to a fully blown and recognizable form of art. She takes pride in the fact that in the world of Art, where every avenue has already been explored, she came un with something unique that can be associated with her name only.
