Dream Catcher by Rebecca Skelton
Copper/brass, glass. Size: 25”w x 25”d x 50” tall
Originally this sculpture was about desperately trying to become a mother, It was entitled “Sperm Catcher” in honor of my friend who was going through IVF. I have renamed it because her hopes and dreams were for children. In the broader interpretation, we all are hoping to catch our dreams in whatever form they take.
